What Does the following blood Test Report Indicate?

My TSH levels are suppose to be between 0.35-4.00 but my labs came back and my labs showed that my TSH levels are at 68.59 mcIU/mL. I clearly know that means that they are elevated but what exactly does that mean? Should I be worried? How bad is it? What effects is this going to have on my body?

Hello,

It means your serum thyroid hormone level is low. That is why your tsh level is high. You need to start levothyroxine, dose according to your weight. Get anti TPO ab test done.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
